It's a sweet day in Minco, as the community holds its annual Honey Festival. Make the trip to Minco, Oklahoma, this weekend and celebrate the 24th Annual Honey Festival. There is also a Kiddie Tractor Pull, with registration starting at 11 a.m. What would a December festival be without an appearance from Santa Claus? Bring the kiddos to meet Santa and have their photo taken from 11 a.m. You know that would look good with your holiday decorations! I can’t wait to see what I will find to take home with me. While you're there make sure to purchase a raffle ticket for your shot at winning an "All Things Christmas" quilt. The High School will be filled with jewelry, gifts, honey, woodwork and iron crafts. Even though he has gone off to the big city, he still identifies himself as a “son of a beekeeper.” If you want to meet Lucas, he will be at Minco High School on Saturday in the middle of the Arts and Crafts Show. Say, did the name Ross ring a bell? Well it should! KFOR and KAUT Emmy Award winning reporter Lucas Ross calls Minco, Oklahoma, home. ![]() Braum’s Dairy will be there with milk, chocolate milk and cheese samples throughout the day. Bring a taste of south-central Oklahoma home with you! After visiting Ross Honey, plan to stop by City Hall for free food samples. There will be honey and gifts available for purchase, too.
